Mission Statement: SG Foundation Trustees collectively strive to serve God and the poor by relieving suffering and improving the quality of life in communities and for the individuals in those communities both locally and around the world.

Goals: The Trustees of SG Foundation meet monthly to review programs that help the poorest of the poor to help themselves. Long term development solutions to poverty are favored as we would rather teach a person to fish than provide a fish as a gift. Relief grants which satisfy a short term need without longlasting benefits are rarely awarded. Additionally, very specific geographic areas and guidelines have been selected by the Trustees for grant consideration.

Note: All requests must be from a qualified 501(c)3 organization based in the United States whether or not the program is international.
